ABOUT KRYSTAL + SONA SOUND SPA

Sona Sound Spa is my private, practitioner-led wellness practice—not a traditional day spa or multi-provider clinic. Every massage, facial treatment, buccal session, and sound experience is personally shaped and provided by me.

With more than ten years of experience, I combine therapeutic bodywork, nervous-system-informed care, facial therapy, sound, and intuitive listening to support the body as a connected whole.

The Heart Behind Sona Sound Spa

MEET KRYSTAL

A woman playing a black metal handpan drum in a dimly lit room illuminated by candles and soft lights, sitting on the floor surrounded by white lit-up bowls.

I’m Krystal, a licensed massage therapist, sound practitioner, facial-care specialist, and lifelong student of the body.

For more than ten years, I have supported people experiencing physical tension, jaw discomfort, stress, exhaustion, nervous-system overload, and a feeling of disconnection from their bodies.

My approach brings together therapeutic massage, myofascial release, buccal and facial techniques, lymphatic support, sound, vibration, and intentional rest. Rather than viewing each concern in isolation, I consider how the body, breath, nervous system, posture, and long-held patterns may be connected.

Every session is performed personally by me. You are not booking a standardized spa service. You are booking an individualized experience shaped around what your body needs that day.

TRAINING + CONTINUING EDUCATION

Grounded in Training. Shaped by Experience.

Krystal’s work has been shaped by more than a decade of hands-on experience, continued study, and a deep respect for the way the body communicates.

Her approach is rooted in listening closely to the whole person, not just the place that hurts. Through ongoing education in therapeutic bodywork, intraoral work, myofascial release, nervous system regulation, facial therapy, sound, and restorative practices, she continues to deepen the way she supports each client.

Every training becomes another thread woven into the work, helping Krystal meet the body with more awareness, more presence, and a greater understanding of how tension can ripple through the jaw, face, breath, fascia, and nervous system.

Move Better Co.

Advanced Head, Neck + Jaw Training • Kathleen Seagar, Physiotherapist

Krystal has continued her study of the jaw, face, and surrounding structures through Move Better’s practitioner education. This work explores the relationship between the jaw, neck, head, and upper body, with a focus on thoughtful assessment and hands-on techniques for patterns such as clenching, jaw tension, headaches, and restricted movement.

The training supports Krystal’s belief that the jaw rarely exists in isolation. What is felt in one area can often be connected to a much larger pattern within the body.

The Body Artisans

Advanced Intraoral + Whole-Body Integration Training • Katherine Bell

Training with The Body Artisans has helped deepen Krystal’s approach to intraoral work, myofascial release, nervous system support, and emotional holding patterns.

Their teachings invite practitioners to look beyond the surface of tension and become curious about what the body may be protecting, bracing against, or ready to release. This perspective continues to shape the way Krystal works slowly and intuitively, creating space for the body to soften in its own time.

THE SONA MISSION

To create a space where you can slow down, reconnect with your body, and experience meaningful relief from the physical and energetic effects of stress through therapeutic bodywork, sound, and restorative care.
